OKAZAKI MARKET+


This market lets visitors experience the crossover of art, science, and technology through the things that are familiar to us from everyday life. Along with shops selling specialty books, food and coffee, and other items, a wide range of programs are available, including accessible lectures and exhibition as well as talks to empower people to get through the COVID-19 pandemic.

The events are subject to change or may be canceled due to weather, the pandemic, and other unforeseen circumstances. Please check the festival website for the latest information.

Participatory Program: Garden of New Creatures Bringing Happiness

Participants imagine and draw “a new creature that brings happiness,” and then scan their illustration with a digital device to create a garden on the display where these new creatures come together. The program also includes mini lectures by art and science experts, and responses to questions collected in advance.
